Liturgical Art Exhibition

St Kieran parishioner, Peter Gravestock, has created a painting entitled
"Deep in the Night" which will be part of the Liturgical Art Exhibition
on display in the BankWest Centre for the month of June.

Peter has based his painting on his interpretation of the words of scripture
found in Isiah 61:1 - 2

  1. The spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
    because the Lord has annointed me.
    He has sent me to bring glad tidings to the lonely,
    to heal the broken hearted,
    to proclaim liberty to captives
    and release to the prisioners.
  2. To announce a year of favour from the Lord
    and a day of vindication by our God
    to comfort all who mourn.
